Bus-powered via FireWire - not a wall wart
Super DriveDock+ is a perfect solution for computer techs and anyone who deals with bare 3.5" IDE drives. It allows you to quickly attach drives via FireWire 800 (400 compatible) and access the data without using an AC adapter.

That's right ... NO AC ADAPTER needed to power the drive. The outer FireWire port accepts bus power from hosts which provide adequate power, allowing single cable operation. This is an industry first, and WiebeTech exclusively offers this feature.

More plug, more play
The Super DriveDock+ has dual FireWire 800 ports (400 compatible), plus a USB2 port. (The USB2 port is not bus-powered, but an AC adapter is also included). As a result, the Super DriveDock+ will attach to virtually any PC or Mac.

Using it is easy! Just connect the drive to the Dock and plug in a FireWire or USB cable to a host computer. That's all it takes. For more protection to the drive, a mounting plate can be screwed onto the bottom of the drive to protect the drive's circuitry.

Use Super DriveDock+ just as you would use a standard external drive. Retrieve data, copy information from drive to drive or access many drives quickly. View or download the entire drive volume with the same performance as any external drive.

Exclusive LED power status system
Our exclusive LED power status system has three indicators. The first lets you know that the host bus power or AC power is available. Another LED indicates that the DriveDock is turned on. The third LED indicates that the drive is being accessed. In the event that the host does not provide sufficient power, one of the LEDs slowly blinks, indicating that you need to use the AC adapter.

Grab it and go - Super DriveDock+ is tough as nails and made to last. The small and rugged case contains a complete, high speed Oxford Semiconductor OXFW922 bridge and is constructed from briefcase-tough aluminum for durability.
