RedPort PCIexpress write blocked host card SCSI Ultra320

Product SKU: WIE-RP-PCIE-SCSI

The RedPort line adds write-blocked ports to a Windows or Linux computer. Connecting to our RedPort on the back of a computer means the attached enclosure is write-blocked. No exceptions.

A primary design task was to ensure that an investigator would not be able to turn a RedPort card into a read/write card by accidentally installing the wrong software drivers. Thus, either RedPort works write-blocked, or it doesn't work at all.

RedPort works much like our Forensic Docks, preventing writes to drives. But instead of being an external docking device, RedPort works within the host.

WiebeTech's first RedPort host cards are developed in partnership with ATTO Technology, a global leader in storage interface connectivity. We've leveraged their years of experience with SCSI and Fibre Channel technology with our knowledge of our customers work environment and requirements.

RedPort SCSI or Fibre Channel work with PCIe slots and provide either a SCSI or Fibre Channel interface. Our RedPort SCSI uses a SCSI Ultra320 interface and delivers data transfer rates up to 320 MB/s.

RedPort Fibre Channel delivers up to 800 MB/s throughput per channel in full-duplex mode. "We don't come across them often," investigators tell us, "but we need a solution for Fibre Channel drives." RedPort allows us to deliver more solutions for data acquisition to make the job of investigators easier and more efficient.
